Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in Kenya's Laikipia County, is situated in the equator West of Nanyuki between the foothils of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya.
In January 2019, I visited OPC for eight full days and every day I witnessed how tirelessly they all work to help conserve and protect their wildlife. They provide a sanctuary for rescued animals and generate income to reinvest in local communities and conservation.
You can "Get Involved" in many ways but I decided to try a 1-1 Photo Workshop (eight days, full board at The Stables) with Professional Photographer, Ian Aitken. I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life.
In the words of Ian:
“Photographing wildlife is a game of tactics and patience and the rewards can be spectacular.”
